[3.06] Silly mapper questions

Ok i'm trying to attempt mapping the mud I play again but running into to some seemingly simple problems

Code:

Climbing Vines [Room 25757]
The darkness continues as the pit moves on..  Hanging vines come into
your vision, hanging off the pit walls.  They rattle softly as you tread
upon them climbing farther down into the pit, as if to cry out in protest.

<70564\70564Hp>|9744Mp|14972Ap<4778364TNL>No Target  *READY*  (Page 1.5)

I configured the mapper with success to pick up the room name and exits
the Vnum i'm having troubles with.

I have Parse Vnum in Name checked

i made a trigger
(*) ~[Room (%d)~]
and then used the #TAG command
#TAG name,vnum %1 %2

but the mapper won't won't pick up the Vnum
I'm trying to get the Vnum to show as the room number instead of the 1 2 3 4 5 etc that the mapper automatically makes

any suggestions appreciated.

As in the examples in the #tag help file, I'd suggest trying the following:
Code:
#TAG name,vnum {%1} {%2}

The need for {} around %1 and %2 in the help file is left over from zMUD. That isn't needed in CMUD.

This post really belongs in the BETA forum since it talks about 3.06. But I will add this to the bug list to look into a bit more. But improvements to the #TAG command are not planned until the next phase of the mapper rewrite.
