CMUD becomes unresponsive when adding package

Sorry to keep posting with these potentially simple problems, but here's another one.
I created a package of aliases, triggers, and variables for generic things on a given mud
for one character. I then attempted to create a new session for a different character
on that same mud. When I log on with this package added to the Packages list in
the session the auto-login triggers fire and as soon as I log into the mud CMUD becomes
unresponsive and uses 90% of the CPU on my machine (I have to kill it off with
the task manager to get out). I tried removing that package and logging on. That
worked, but as soon as I opened up the package editor and tried to add this
package CMUD again became unresponsive.

I am still able to use the original session this package was created in without problems.
Is there something I need to do to prepare the package for use in another session?

Does it crash if you connect offline?
Can you then connect with triggers turned off?

If so then you can eventually narrow it down to which setting is causing the issue.

It appears to be gauges I have defined. Perhaps it is not a good idea to define the gauge in
a generic non-window package? I defined it there because these are common gauges I
want for all of my characters on this mud.
