@Zugg, This is sort of a feature request |
Is there any way you can change the #GAG process so that the text isn't written to the screen if it's going to be gagged? I have this problem where I'm gagging so much stuff, it makes it impossible to read the text as it goes by because CMUD takes a moment to clear it once it occurs

If it was never printed to screen, the trigger would never see it to gag it... though you may consider upping the priority of your gagging triggers

Lines coming in from the mud surely must be processed or something before they get written to the output that I see? can't it check then, and simply not output it if its set to be gagged?
I'll try upping the priority. |

That's what the triggers are for. CMUD doesn't know what's going to be gagged unless a trigger specifies. If you set the priority of the gagging triggers to a low number (1) like shalimar suggested then you should see better performance.

Also, what version of CMUD are you using? Older versions of CMUD (and zMUD) had a problem where the text to be gagged was momentarily displayed on the screen before the trigger was executed. But this was fixed in CMUD and shouldn't be happening anymore.
