Go back one step, without the mapper |
I am running two sessions, so one has to do without the mapper. I am running quests with that session, so mostly moving around tracking things. I need to get a light from a bag when I step into a dark room. But I can not see the bag when in dark. So I need to take a step back. How would you do that? I was thinking of keeping the last direction in a variable and then just create a list of all dirs and just find the opposite dir there, but there should be an easier way...

Assuming that you have the English Directions package, or an equivalent, loaded, and assuming the directions you are using are listed in the package, you can use the %reversedir() function to find the reverse direction. However you do it, you will definitely have to keep track of your last direction. Then you can make an alias named "back" or "b" or something like that to do: #send %reversedir(@lastdir)
