Built-in Button Images |
Are there any plans to update the built-in images for buttons? I noticed some of the directions are missing. For example, there is a red down arrow but no up arrow. On the large blue directional arrows there are no northwest, northeast, southeast arrows and so on. There are two different sizes for the blue directional arrows, which can be combined to make a full compass I suppose. The smaller ones look better though. Many of them look horrible on black background like someone just cut them out of a graphic with a white background so they have white edges showing and don't blend at all. Others have black edges and blend well.
How can I update these icons myself? I have all the graphics software I need. Where are they stored? I can also make my own of course, but it is so much easier to just click the magnifying glass and choose one without having to create new ones then copy over into the right directory. I suppose I will just do that anyway, but thought I would ask before I went through the trouble. |

Just put the full path to any .bmp image you like and it'll display as the button icon.

I plan to update the images to nicer PNG format someday in the future, but it has been a very low priority. As Fang mentioned, you can already use any external image that you want. And no matter what images I add to the built-in list, someone will always want something more.

Fang I know very well I can add my own images in that manner. That wasn't what I was asking.
Zugg you can't satisfy everyone that is true. I know this is no big priority. I was simply curious. I was going to make a compass but there isn't a full set of arrows for one particular color to do that, which is why I noted that there was a red down arrow but no up arrow.
I'll just create all my own images. Sorry to bug you. |

Actually all the images are still there... they are just not all visible. But if you manually type in the name of the image, (which you can get from zMUD) and it will display.
