[3.03] CMUD creates empty room script classes |
1) I had several rooms in my 2.X map with a room script. Later I removed these scripts but I suspect that somewhere inside the .MDB file CMUD have kept some kind of flag that mentioned rooms once had an associated script. After map conversion (2.36->3.03) I've found empty classes for these rooms. Well, my map is very small and I can get rid of them manually. But what is for a larger map? Can CMUD check .MDB whether it actually has a script for a room?
2) When I click on these empty classes in the editor, the mapper tries to relocate the map to to the room I clicked on. Cool, but the mapper doesn't take into account in which zone that room is placed. Instead, it just moves around currently loaded zone.
3) May I ask for the taskbar button for the mapper' spreadsheet view window? Currently it tends to disappear once it loose focus - no taskbar button, can't Alt-Tab to it... |

1) It's already supposed to do that (check to make sure the script actually exists). Can you email me your old *.MDB map database and tell me which room number to check? Email it to sales@zuggsoft.com.
2) Yes, that's true. Loading a new zone is a rather "expensive" operation, so right now it's just a convenience feature within the current zone. Something I'll look at more down the road.
3) I'll add that to the bug list. |
