Troubles with configuring the Mapper, who knows where I should look? |
Hi all,
Very strange thing here I think. I have created a second account for the same realms (Achaea IRE) and have copied my map files to the new directory which was created for the new profile/session. But somehow I can not get the mappers auto config to work.. while it works perfectly fine with my other profile. I have loaded the maps but i can not get the new profile to keep track of my movement. Somehow it automatically resets the mud prompt trigger to something that is wrong every now and than and when I do automatic setup it does not recognize which line is the room name, which are the description and which are the exit lines. While that worked great on my other (original) profile. I have looked into all my setting of both profiles and I can not find any blatant differences. Does anybody know where I should look to fix this? thanks in advance. |

now i got it to follow me one room. than at the bottom of the mapper window there is something saying "Queue e(1234" for example. When I doubleclick that it changes to "Queue <Empty" and it will follow me again for one room. After each step some sort of Queue seems to fill up with the direction command i just gave. But as long as i do not manually clear that queue it can not track the next step i make.

What version of CMud are you using? For the latest beta, 3.03a, try using #track;#track NameOfYourObjectHere.

Are you using Telnet triggers for mapping?

Whoa, I missed that line out of the original post. Yes, it's been doing that for a couple of us, if you could post what OS and such you're using Zugg might be able to track it down better. It does totally mess up the map. |
