CMUD freezes when trying to reconfigure the mapper. When it tries to parse the [X] Room Name/[X] Room Description/[X] Room Exit. information.

I've tried it a couple times. One time I let it run for like 5 minutes, and it finally finished, but the others it just seemed to stop running.

What else was CMUD doing at the time? What other windows (like the Settings editor) were open? I haven't been able to reproduce anything like this myself. Does it also do this in v2.37, or just a problem in 3.03?

Oh sorry about that. I didn't try it in the previous version of CMUD, I am running windows vista home premium. No other windows other than my session to aetolia, and the mapper configuration gui were open.

I noticed this once when I didn't have room description information but left the room description box checked. Does unchecking room description help?

I've had this problem too.. Basically, trying to reconfigure on Win XP, it basically freezes.

I tried with selecting ROOM DESCRIPTION off, and it will work almost immediately, but retrying with Room Description will just freeze CMud.

That lines up with what I experienced. When it's expecting information that it doesn't get, it just freezes. (Having descriptions -tagged- and reconfiguring with room description box checked works fine.)

Can you both post the sample output from the MUD that CMUD is trying to parse with the Room Description being on? My guess is that there is some sort of loop in the config code, although this is all very odd because I haven't changed any of the config code yet in v3.x, so I'd expect this same problem to happen in 2.37.
