cmud to zmud

Is it possible to export single triggers from cmud to zmud? Is Cmud xml only? Any way to import xml to zmud?

It's may be possible to recreate the same triggers in zMUD, but there is ALOT of new functionality in CMUD that just doesn't exist in zMUD. CMUD export function is xml only. You can copy and paste the code in zMUD but you'd have to make sure that all command are in zMUD as well.

Out of curiousity why would you want to go back?

Functionality? For example in coloring triggers or substitute or exporting aliases... ? :) Many ppl stay with zmud, hard to export some simple scripts for them.

There's no way to export something from CMUD to text because not all the new options CMUD has are supported by the zScript commands that're used to define them in the text files. Things like the new alias arguments auto append and parse arguments and priorities for settings, not to mention that settings can now use any scripting language.

The best you can do really is to copy the pattern and script separately and construct a #trigger command around them, making sure that it uses only things zMUD supports.
