roomname dragonrealms

Room description pattern:
[The Sewers, The Snail Warren]

I cannot get zMUD to colour room names properly. For some reason some rooms are ansi coloured according to my prefs. However, most are not. Anyone know how to properly set this?

the best way would be to set a #COLOR trigger on the %gsl that holds the room name

Actually, the best way would be to set up the GSL color preferences. Three mouseclicks and ZMud handles the colorizing for more than 15,000 rooms automatically. If you know that the GSL preferences are set properly and that they are in fact working, do the following:

1)go to a room you know works
2)turn off GSL emulation
3)create the situation where you think the color should be (ie, the LOOK command to bring up room info)
4)turn GSL back on and go somewhere you know doesn't work
5)repeat steps 1-3 one time
6)go somewhere safe and quiet so you can compare the info
7)if something in the room that does not color is not working, use the BUG command to report the problem. To my knowledge, the Ratha Sewers should properly color but my knowledge doesn't include the off-path places there.

If there's nothing different, you either found a GSL bug in ZMud or something low-level got messed up. Fixing it will likely include the Migration Guide, deleting and recreating your layout file, or reinstalling ZMud.
