triggers doing something weird....

Don't know why, but it seems like ALL my triggers are sending 16 to the mud. Dunno why, very odd....

It'd be quite a bit more helpful if you were posting what your triggers were. We only get a glimpse of it here...

As an aside, using %2 in your patterns is not really wise... it was never intended that way, either. Use something more definitive.

Code:
#trig {^## &%xchannel %2} {#IF (@channel = "(Channel:") {#CAPTURE {channels}} {#CAPTURE {info}}}

So... I could actually just omit the %2 in that trigger right?

As far as the rest of my triggers. Do you want ALL my triggers? That'd be a....ton...of triggers. Albet, it'd be nice to get someone REALLY smart to take a look at everything. But, juat a little out of scope for this post. I'll double check, but I'm pretty sure that its sending a 16 on EVERYTHING... My prompt trigger, alarms, everything. I'll doublt check again...

Wow, yea.. Trying to 'test' that with my tick alarm, and my prompt trigger, and a couple other triggers, just exponentially sent it into a BIG loop... Heh, prompt trigger sending 16, alarm sending 16, couple other triggers sending 16, mud giving a new prompt with each 16 AND another prompt telling me that the command isn't recognized, and then the triggers firing off of the new prompt, resending 16... Yea, just about crashed cmud, hahahahahaha!

Open Package Editor, go to View -> Find, and look for 16. See if you can find it anywhere.

Well... Huh. Shut down cmud, shut down IE, shut down outlook, did a couple m$ updates (nothing that I think would affect cmud... But, ya never know.) Rebooted, and everything was kosher. Very odd.... Well, thanks! LoL

I have had various CMud issues myself that were fixed simply with a reboot that just closing/reopening the program or tinkering inside the program couldnn't fix. Not sure why it works out this way. Gotta love M$ Windows.

But yeah, I'd say to always consider a full reboot to try to fix issues if all else fails. I really doubt that the updates would have made a difference unless you had something really making your system unstable that they fixed, which, as you said yourself, would have nothing to do with CMud.
