Or if you know how to connect to DragonRealms with zMud that would help too, thanks.

To connect to DR use the address game3.play.net and the port is 4901

now log into the website go all the way to play using the wizard.. right-click, download that file.. open it in a text editor like notepade.. copy everything after Key= . Now connect using zmud.. paste the key in and hit enter twice.

Is there a way to do it so that you don't have to go to the web site and get the key each time? Thanks.

p.s. it's for Dragonrealms, if that's needed info. :)

The problem I think that these people are having with Dragonrealms and Gemstone III is that they have totally revamped the web site, and made it next to impossible to actually use zmud. I am also having the same problem, and was hoping for an answer. If anybody could help out, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks gang!

Kinda a late response...

I use ZMud with DR, even with the new website revision. I use netscape to login to the website, then say I am going to use the wizard. Netscape prompts me, and I say to save, and then I read the file with the atconnect alias in ZMud. Same thing as before the revision, for me.

Alternativly to the method here.. use the SGE to log in.. than close the wizard and in you c: drive you should see a file calles GSE.~xt open this file and the key will be in there also. If you go to yahoo groups and get into the DRzMUD group there is a script for obtaining the key without opening the file.. just download the file.. be it test.sal or gse.~xt and put it in the zmud directory and than fire up zmud and connect and it will pull they key for you and log in.

On a side note.. someone is working on a autologin useing the eaccess.play.net that the SGE uses.. it is real funky and you hafta send some odd characters to it but they are almost done with it and I hope they post the finished script.
