Switching Connection |
IS there a way to open a new connection that closes the old connection? Currently, since all of my characters are on different "connections" I close CMUD entirely and open it to make a new one (due to that bug that I hope was fixed). MY question is, is there a way to just click on the new connection and have it automatically close out the old one as opposed to making tabs...?

The bug is fixed. No, you cannot both close one session and open another in a single action. You can close the current session with File|Close Window, then open the new session when the Sessions window opens.

Are all of your characters connected to the same mud?
Are all of your characters playable from within the same session package?
If so why not just log off then reconnect?
What are you trying to accomplish exactly? |

It's easier the way I do it because they don't all have the same exact package and I have an auto log in script.

If your auto login script is based off an OnConnect event then the way you do it is not easier. You'd be adding unnecessary steps. However, experience tells me that you'll have to discover that on your own as you tend not to listen to little bits of advice like this.

It is, and I sent it automatically with the various possible characters I can log on. Having them in the same connection means I would have to select the character. |
