turn on.... changing? |
is there a way to make it so that cmud will show me when it changes a variable, and what its changing that variable to?

You can use the script debugger to see many things as they happen. It's on the window menu.

A lot of the times, when I change a variable. I use
#say Variable: @variable
to see what it's being changed to in various instances. |

Isn't there still system messaging for that sort of thing? Of course, you'll see all system messages as well--which means you'll see stuff for triggers, deletions (via #UNVAR and similar commands), tick timers, and so on.

well... using #say works, and i'll give that a go, but its really for only troubleshooting a few at a time, i'd think at least... as for the debugger... yea, and yesterday when i thought i didn't have a great grasp on what all is goin on, now officially, i KNOW i have NO clue! hahahahaha! things are actually starting to come together, so hopefully i won't need to be dubugging too much longer... hehe
