Package Problems

I had my MateriaMagic set up with custom buttons and walks. Today I log in and everything... everything is gone. Why would this happen? Even the screen's layout is different.

Are you running this on Windows Vista? And, did you opt to save your game files in your CMUD install directory? (Hint: On Vista, you have permissions trouble saving things unless you go with the My Games\CMUD option or enter a custom path that you know will work.)

You'll find the changes to your package in the Virtual Storage folder for the CMUD application folder. To access this folder look on the task bar below the path box while viewing the CMUD folder. There should be a button for Compatibility Files. Click it and you'll find all the changes attempted to the CMUD folder there. Moving the CMUD folder to a non-restricted location will solve this problem. The Program Files folder is restricted, so you will have to create higher permissions for the Administrator that what it has as default.
