[2.22] Grey background in editor
 
1. Window->editor
2. Notice how the text field has a light grey background. Typing in text creates characters with black foreground, and white background. Looks odd.

It uses whatever Style you have set up for the editor. In my case, the Editor has a black background and gray text. Until you change the style, I believe it is trying to use your Windows system theme colors. But just change your Editor style in the Preferences Styles page and then it should be fine.
