CMUD eating input.

Occasionally CMUD will eat input. I know of several others who have the same problem on the MUD I play. It's not a huge deal as it's random and not terribly common but happens several times a session. Normally on the third time put in the command/emote comes out. Any ideas?

Does it happen with a completely blank, new session?

Have you double checked to make sure it's not your game eating commands (hello, delayed concussion)?

If you don't mind saying, which game is it? (And obviously which version of CMud are you running--latest non-beta?)

I haven't experienced this problem at all, playing Imperian.

The game is Armageddon. The version is 1.34 I believe.

What do you mean by a blank new session? It happens on every session occasionally. Random.

Off-topic... how do I upgrade my version?

Download the new .exe (on the menu at the top of the page, downloads->cmud, then click CMUD and download) and then just install to the same place you had the old version. 1.34 is very out of date now.

If you open up the sessions window using the button at the top (or the start screen) and make a new session and make sure all of the packages it's using are completely EMPTY except for defaults (no triggers, etc.), then does it happen?

You can upgrade CMud by going to the download menu above the forum, the current non-beta version is 2.18, so if you're using 1.34 you're way behind and probably experiencing lots of bugs that have been fixed (and of course missing out on all the spiffy new bugs...heh).
