Character map substitution |
A fellow MUDder uploaded a screenshot of his MUDside map for a script he wrote, and stated that his map would look different than ours because he uses custom fonts. Basically, what it boils down to is this:
Instead of # being used as a person, a dingbat is used. The character code is 0xEA, but I'm wondering how I can substitute that into the client for the # sign. Any ideas on how I can do this? Thanks!

One MUD I know uses a special font for this with lots of the unused characters (é and € and whatnot) replaced with symbols of trees and stuff for this. You could try something similar.
