Zmud Map Find

I've always used zmud and not Cmud so...
I swear I remember the when I was in a non-unique room, say a road that has a few rooms of the same name
ie: North Main Street
if I hit the binoculars on the map toolbar it would pop up a little list like a spreadheet with the rooms that match, and if I clicked on them it would select them on the map
(like when you use the find in the menu and you manually search for the name)

Now the binocs don't do anything unless I am in a unique room, if it is unique, it will set me right to that room on the map.

Is my memory totally screwed up, or has my map grown too large?
or is it because I stopped mapping with descriptions, (brief mode) ?

Is there a way to get that functionality back?

I've never had that functionality via the Find button. What you might be thinking of is Spreadsheet View, but as far as I know it's never been attached to anything but a menu option.
