Layout not saving

I have a similar problem - I am trying to set up a similar display to the one I had in zMud.
That is, two sets of tabbed windows above the main window. I can set this up, fine, but I can't save it.
The session always reverts back to one tabbed session above the main window.
I have tried deleting the XLY file, and it does get recreated - but it doesn't solve the problem.

Can I achieve the desired end result without having to manually set it up each time?

Many thanks for any help.

I've split your post into a new thread; a thread from 1.30 is too old to be much use.

Which CMUD version are you using? Which windows version? Where did you tell the installer to put your data files? Does #save help?

Thanks for splitting
I'm using cMud 2.18 and Windows xp - I took the installer defaults, neither #sav or #save helped.
Looking at the session info in more detail, because I imported from zMud, it is still referring back to the zMud configs - although it is these configs which apear differently in cMud from how they used to appear in zMud.
The two side-by-side tab sessions that I had and liked in zMud - only appear combined in cMud.
Hope that helps

I had 1 Main window, 1 window position to the right in relation to the Main and 1 window positioned to the bottom in relation to the Right window.

I think I've solved it - the session kept referring to zMud files for the layout - when I overwrote these with cMud directory references, then positioned everything as I wanted, saved it, then ticked the box on the session to use that file, everything has been saved properly and it's
working ok now.
Very odd - but good to have someone to talk to. Thanks Fang Xianfu
