YAHOO email users: Important Notice

I have recently had a flood of support requests from customers who are either not receiving their automated emails from our server (reg codes and passwords) or are not getting my replies to their support requests.

If you are using a yahoo.com email address and you haven't gotten an expected email from us within 48 hours, please try whitelisting support at zuggsoft.com and sales at zuggsoft dot com, then resend your request.

If anyone has any actual details about any upgrades or changes to spam filtering that Yahoo may have done since December, please let me know.

Please pass the word.

As I said in the zuggsoft forums, this isn't Yahoo limited, I've had to do it in gmail as well. So quite likely its on a black hole list somewhere. I would email Yahoo tech support and request that they permanently whitelist this domain. I've already done so with gmail, and I think they've done so.

No need to post twice. I already added a comment to your other post. We are not currently having any trouble with gmail customers in general, so it might have been something specific in your account, or something you had to do a while back when our license emails were not as "clean" as the spam filters liked.

Yeah, I use gmail.. I purchased 3 products. zMapper, Cmud, and Zmud (I think thats all), plan on buying cMUD Pro, and some other stuff.. um, if there is more stuff...maybe. I dunno.

At any rate, I use gmail, and Everything comes through just fine, all the time, when it comes from here, sooo -shrugs-. Came through the first time, and came through when I had to retrieve my licenses,

:)

Well, all I've received from Yahoo is a form-message requesting the same information that I have already sent them. So I'm done messing with Yahoo. If you are having trouble receiving email from zuggsoft.com at your Yahoo email address, please complain to Yahoo on our behalf, or switch to a provider that cares more about it's customers. At this point, unless Yahoo users complain about recent changes to their anti-spam system that are preventing them from receiving legitimate emails from companies like ours, they apparently are not going to change anything. They will not tell me why our email is not being delivered. I have passed our license emails through both Barracuda and SpamAssassin and have looked at the results and it's just fine. As far as I've been able to tell, zuggsoft.com is not in any black-list servers for spam. We are not even getting any bounce-back messages from Yahoo...they apparently just get sent into a "black hole" so we have no way to determine what is causing the problem.

This is not the first time Yahoo has done something like this. So as I said, my biggest suggestion is to switch to a different email provider, such as GMail or MSN unless you want to miss important email messages from our company and others. Maybe if they lose enough customers they will focus more on their customer support. Right now it looks like they just want to brag that their email is the most "spam-free" of any provider because they are deleting your valid email that isn't actually spam.

If anyone is able to get an actual response from Yahoo that would be helpful to determine what the problem is, please let me know. But I have been unable to actually contact a real person at Yahoo to look into this.

Sent yahoo feedback from their webpage to remove you from their spam filter. I'll let you know if I hear back from them.

Bumping this back to Sticky status because Yahoo is still causing people trouble with this. We have still be unable to get anyone at Yahoo who can provide us any information on why this is happening.
