[2.18] Floating windows |
Well, I've got a floating window to display my map from the MUD output. Easy enough. However, occasionally, when I switch over to a website, the window still remains on top, even though CMUD is now the inactive window. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? No, it's not pinned (there's no option to have it stay on top).

The docking system used in CMUD makes all dockable windows stay on top of the main CMUD application window. So, even though you haven't pinned it, it's still a "stay on top" window. And as mentioned in the past, there are several bugs with how stay-on-top windows are handled in both Windows and Delphi. I'm hoping that the Delphi 2007 version won't have this problem, but I haven't gotten that far in my testing yet.
The problem is with the "occasionally" as you mentioned. It's not a totally reproduceable problem. But the way the Windows Z-order is handled in Delphi *did* change in Delphi 2007, so we can all cross our fingers. |
