Setting up a sort of notes system

I would like to tag to the end of a line a word or two.

The input is like this:

[21 Cloud War] (PK) [NEXUS] Halverson the Strategist
[30 Fire War] (PK) Borhl the Man-At-Arms
*27 Gnome Shf* (PK) [NEXUS] Xprlet the Elder Shapeshifter
[24 Fire War] (PK) Hazarakt the Knight, Village Applicant
[32 Human War] (PK) (WANTED) Orbis the Master of Defense
[30 Felar War] (PK) Hraefdaer the Man-At-Arms
[26 Svirf War] (PK) Gurtag the Vanguard, Village Applicant
[29 Felar Shf] (PK) Aistl the Student Changeling
[24 Felar Asn] (PK) Ikemay the Master of Taisabaki
[22 Cloud War] (PK) Bhodi the Partisan
[22 Arial Asn] (PK) Iolair the Master of Kotegaeshi

I assume you have to use triggers and psub, but from the helpfiles I couldn't figure it out.
It's also difficult to type all of that in each time I want to append something. Anyone have any suggestions?
