Bug: Rollup doesn't work properly |
Divide screen into 3 regions - Left half of screen is main mud, top right is mapper, bottom right is capture window. right click cmud menu bar, select rollup, and it only rolls up to a minimum of the height of the mapper portion

Rollup is only intended to work when the window is floating. It doesn't work when the window is docked.

I meant on the entire CMUD window. I wouldn't expect it to matter how many windows i have docked when i click rollup on cmud itself, not on an individual window of cmud. Zmud rolled up the way i describe when windows were docked IIRC.

Oh, sorry I misunderstood. I'll look into this.
Btw, it doesn't matter what zMUD did. zMUD and CMUD are completely different applications. The fact that CMUD works mostly like zMUD is actually a minor miracle. In this case, the component and code used to implement Rollup in zMUD is completely different than what is used in CMUD. The Window docking systems, are completely different, etc. So just because something worked in zMUD doesn't really have any bearing on CMUD.
The Rollup stuff in CMUD was provided by the Theme Engine that I recently ripped out to improve Windows compatibility. I through in a quick implementation of Rollup and StayOnTop since those functions are used a lot, but this just happened in the last Beta version, so it hasn't gotten much testing. It will get improved in the next round of Betas. |
