again this has happened, uninstalled cmud removed all trace of it from this computer, reinstalled recreated the sessions, they worked, went away turned computer off, came back and only 1 session allowing me to connect.

Chnging the name of the package file allowed me to connect to the mud but as last time im sure they will stop working soon

I'm still getting this quite frequently, too. I have one package that has been stable as a rock and never had any issues, but others constantly do. It has been bad enough that at one point i made a new session, connected, then quit. Tried to reconnect and it wouldn't open at all. Turning off or re-creating layouts didn't help. Closed cMUD completely, deleted the entire folder, re-created, it works. Quit, try to reconnect, broken again ad infinitum :(.

Regarding sessions that fail to open or open an entirely different session... I'm still experiencing this with v2.18 (non-Pro) on XP SP2, with my muds saved in the My Documents/etc folder.

I currently have 3 sessions that I usually have open, and quite frequently (once every couple weeks) one of those sessions will a) refuse to open entirely, b) open a different session, c) open the properly named session with DIFFERENT connection info.

Luckily only one of them has any scripts attached, unfortunately it's the one that corrupts most often. I've found ways to fix it by removing the session, creating a new one, and attaching the previous pkg file to it.

It's frustrating because otherwise CMud is pretty stable, this is the only problem that really grinds on me because it's a bit of a mini-show-stopper.
