[2.17]Paths not parsing. |
I have an alias: Home
It is: spell rec tesuit;.tesuitjsr
The tesuitjsr Path is:
2w2nen(get key @other_container;unlock trapdoor;open trapdoor)d(close trapdoor;lock trapdoor;put key @other_container)n(rest)
I keep getting illegal token errors when I try to run it.
It seems it is not recognizing the "." as a speedwalk command even though it is set up and the parsing option is "on".
Indeed, none of my paths are parsing at all. Not just those with actions embedded in the path. |

Make sure the English Directions package is loaded and enabled for your session. I'm not getting any speedwalk problems here.

I'm pretty sure the package was enabled. I ended up reverting back to 2.16 last evening. I uninstalled and reinstalled 2.17 today and imported my settings.
Like yesterday when I was at work, the parsing is working while in offline mode. I'll see what happens tonight when I get home to actually log on to the mud
I play. I'm fairly certain they were parsing yesterday at work in offline mode as well, but as soon as I got home and logged in, it wasn't working. For either
of my characters.
I'll double check everything tonight. |

Well, after spending the last couple hours shopping and cooking for a party tomorrow night, I finally got a chance to sit down and play a bit.
0 problems. The paths not parsing is not an issue. I'm not sure exactly what happened from the time I was testing at work to the time I opened up the
laptop at home and logged on, but apparently whatever it was didn't happen tonight. |
