[2.16] Window scoping problem? |
I'm in the process of rewriting a package for CMUD
In my old package (ElysiumRPG) then I have a normal window and a 'Channels' window that gets sent all the various channels chat
In the new package (Elysium) I've created a Channels window within the package and created a few triggers
I've got both sessions open at the same time so I have 4 windows
Elysium, Channels
ElysiumRPG, Channels
I would expect that when I use '#WIN Channels ...' from within one package it should go to the window within that package, not to the one in another |

I'm not sure I can fix this for the public release. In general, you should avoid having multiple Windows with the same name. CMUD can get confused in several areas about this (and it can save a corrupted layout in some cases too). The #WIN command actually searches for windows in the order that they are created and doesn't look at any sort of scope. This might be improved in the future, but only if the problems with saving layouts with multiple windows of the same name can be fixed.
