[2.16] Attaching Existing Triggers to newly created things. |
This has happen a few times already in this version. I create a window or a new variable or whatever new thing I want to create.
Somehow the editor is taking a pre-existing trigger (All the ones I've noticed are from my are from my Zone Start Trigger class)
and attaching them to whatever was created.
Ex.
->WindowDefinition
--|---->(TR) Climbing up a Hill
or
->@new_var
--|---->(TR) Before a Broken Gate.
If you try to move the trigger back to its folder or class or do anything with it, you can crash or just altogether lose it.
If you delete the variable you lose the trigger already. So far, I've lost 4 triggers but have only actually noticed
this twice.
It also appears to be deleting the Class the trigger was from as well. |

I you have a *.PKG file where this happens consistently, please email it to me along with the procedure to reproduce it. It sounds like something is wrong with your package. I cannot reproduce this myself.

When I installed 2.16 I uninstalled 2.15 and then installed 2.16 into the old directory with my packages and sessions and ran from there. During this time I noticed this
"bug" happening. I uninstalled 2.16, reinstalled 2.15, fixed things and used 2.15 for the next few days cleaning up some other things.
I then went ahead and installed 2.16 into a different directory, export my settings from 2.15 and imported them into 2.16 and have not had this issue at all.
So, again, must have just been a freak thing because after a clean import it has not happened once. |
