[2.13 Pro] Odd behaviour and crash when changing locked layouts

I've had these kinds of things happen a few times in different situations and it's hard to pin down any pattern, but here's one sequence that seems to behave strangely every time I do it.

Start CMUD, bring up an empty session in offline mode (I used the clean RetroMUD session from the CMUD install with sample muds off).
If lock layout is on, turn it off. If auto-save layout is off, turn it on.
Click the map button on the toolbar to bring up the automapper window - it came up docked on the right for me, and I left it there.
Now lock the layout.
Close CMUD, restart it, and bring up the session.
Do File->New Connection, call it 'test', connecting to localhost:23
Click on the new test tab, it'll be waiting to reconnect, cancel that.
Close CMUD again (layout should still be locked).

With the session saved like this I was able to reproduce two different problems every time.
1:
Run CMUD, bring up the session.
Click the Map button on the toolbar (just once, nothing should happen).
Close CMUD.
At this point it got stuck - all the windows inside the main CMUD window closed, but CMUD itself didn't, and the window was left all grey.
Clicking close a second time worked.

2:
Run CMUD, bring up the session.
Click on the 'test' connection tab to switch to it.
Click the Map button once.
Close CMUD.
This gave me a crash almost every time (report below).

I'm running Vista x64 as admin with full aero on.
