Zugg Software :: View topic - Z-chat with Z-mud 7.21 Help needed

I downloaded Z-chat a few days ago but when I installed Z-mud 7.21 on my new vista computer
Z-chat does not want to load with Z-mud.
I spent the past 2 days browsing forums and looking for help on-line with no luck.
When I tell it to install the plugin it tells me Z-chat exe is not a valid plugin the same with the Z-chat dll (Thought I'd try them too).
I did register Z-mud too so it should not be a problem with registration.
I actually re-installed Z-mud and it did the same thing. I can load Z-chat by itself but it will now echo to the mud window or allow me to type in the mud window.
When I shut down Z-chat I get the following error:
Exception EWin32Error in module zChatAfk.dll at 00007FAF Win32 Error. Code: 5. Access is denied.
I am running both as Administrator. Any help would be appreciated!

When installing the zchat plugin into zMUD, you need to select the file called ZCHATAPI.DLL.

Keep in mind that zMUD is not supported on Vista. And zChat is a free plugin and isn't supported at all (it is very old). The new CMUD client was written for Vista, and integrated chat features are planned for CMUD next year.

Thanks a bunch for the response I still get the Win32 error when I try to do something in internet explorer at the same time as z-chat now thinking Internet explorer is causing the problem and not Vista........when internet explorer is not on it works great!
And it is echo ing to the Z-mud now :)
When I get money I will surely upgrade to Cmud.
