[2.12] Bug when opening a session (only happened once) |
I installed 2.12 and attempted to connect to the mud I always play, SWMud. I was able to connect to my other mud sessions without a hitch but when I tried to double-click on SWMud's entry in the session list, it wouldn't show me a window. So I'd try again, and again the session window would disappear but an SWMud session wouldn't be opened.
I attempted to make a new SWMud connection and so I entered all the details in again. This time, I was able to connect to the session (presumably because it was new) and somehow my old session settings (triggers, macros, etc) were added to this new session. The catch was... they didn't work. I thought I was in the clear until I realized this.
If I looked at the Settings for the new session, it would show my old swmud.mud listed under (like a leaf) the SWMud session's tree.
ex:
SWMud
+swmud.mud
And under swmud.mud would be all my old session's settings.
This frustrated the heck outta me so I closed this session, went into the Sessions window and found one session that had no name, but when I looked what packages it was using, it said swmud.mud. So I named it, threw in the connection info, saved it, connected to it.. and voila. It works, and my triggers, macros, etc all work.
What on earth happened? |
