(2.11) Two different problems.

First, during the install of the new version, The windows asking me to click okay or next did not show on the right side of the Window. Changing size of the Window did not help either. I was able to continue by tabbing and guessing when the right button was selected. I am using a wide screen LCD monitor, set at 1440 by 900.

Second when I went to open the package editor the window came up but cMUD totally locked up, with no error messages and I had to use control-alt-delete to close it.

This was a clean install into a new directory, but I did do the transfer of files from zMUD.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using Large Fonts or, more likely since I use Large Fonts with no major issues, Large size DPI, or a custom DPI setting in your Control Panel, Display, Advanced, General tab?

What version of Windows?

Yes I am using large fonts in Windows XP

I have not had the lock-up problem again, so that may be fixed.

You sure you are using Large Fonts, and not the other setting I described? Because I had this problem with the other (DPI) setting in an earlier version and it isn't currently suported. Large Fonts is on the Appearance tab.

I doubled checked and I am using normal fonts, and I just had another lockup on the package library as well.

Are you using the normal DPI setting though? If not, set it to normal, set fonts to large, reboot and see if your problems go away. At the very least, you will notice a lot fewer display issues.
