Setting default inherited windows font and full screen mode |
Hi, Can some kind soul tell me how to change the windows output font?
I have changed it to Courier New 10 pt in the main window.
I can only change it in my Tells window and other windows by unticking the inherited box - that works fine for that session - but once I close zmud and reconnect, I have to reset all the windows fonts again.
Secondly, the main window refuses to open in full screen mode - trivial I know, but irritating.
Any help for a zMud newbie would be appreciated. |

There is a preference setting for child window fonts. Set that in your main window and it should do what you need. Alternately you can set the font information in the child window's preferences, then open the settings editor for each of those windows and select File|Save as from the settings editor menu. Save the file with a name matching your child window either in the zMud directory (use with all sessions) or in the session specific directory.
The easiest way to get a consistent full screen with zMud is to delete the .lay file for your session. Then launch zMud, press ESC to bring up a blank session. Drag the size and position to cover your screen, do not use the maximize. Then close zMud. That sizing information should not be used the next time you open your session and a layout file will be created with it. |

I sit corrected. I thought there was an option in Fonts section, but it would appear my brain was combining the Memory and Fonts section together. You will have to use the long alternate solution.
