[2.09] #Recall Suggestion

When merging rooms with the room currently marked as recall, make sure the resulting room gets set as the new recall point.

I believe this is already the case, given that it works for the placement of the blue dot and every other room properties setting. What could definitely be improved on, however, is visibly indicating which one of the many selected rooms currently has the focus. Right now, the only way to tell is to open the properties window or using one of the room properties functions. The room whose info appears in that window will not be deleted in the merge.

Iceclaw is correct, the recall setting is lost when a room's merged.

Yes, this is true. When you merge rooms, the room that is selected becomes the "master" room. So the ID of the new room becomes the ID of the room that was selected. If the recall location pointed to the ID of one of the other rooms, then it's lost.

This also happens with other room properties, such as color. The resulting room has the color of the "master" room that was selected, so any color in the other rooms is lost.

You don't actually need to select all of the rooms. If you just select one room, and then use Merge, it will still merge all of the rooms in that same location (or slightly offset).

Anyway, if this is easy, then I'll see if I can fix it, otherwise it might need to wait until the mapper update. Until then, just be sure to properly select the room that you want to be the master before you use Merge.
