[2.04] Trigger intermittently matches the line after the line that it should do

I haven't yet worked out how to reproduce this, or even the exact circumstances under which it happens, but with the same trigger as in this thread (which, btw, is not fixed in v2.04):
[2.03] <send> tags in #SUBs within undefined MXP elements cause loss of ANSI col

Trigger pattern:
(%x) narrates '(*)
Trigger value:
#CAP Narrates
#SUB {"<send 'whois &text;' 'whois &text;'>"%1~</send~> narrates '%2}

Occasionally it matches my prompt - the line after the narrate - and puts the SUB on that (but the "send" still works correctly). It also caputures my prompt to Narrates window instead of the narrate.

I'll try turning off XML mode and see if it continues to happen... [Edit: It does continue to happen.]

I tried removing the SUB to see if that made any difference but it didn't.

Right, I've captured one instance of this in a #DEBUG file.

EDIT: It was this line:
Quote:
Abcdef narrates '.ee's are exactly like swedes.. back in 1972 :p'

That line contains quite a few special characters, but this line also did it:
Quote:
Zyxwv narrates 'who wants tower'

but I didn't have #DEBUG on at the time.

Names changed to protect the innocent, but they didn't contain any special characters.

Actually, removing the #SUB did make this problem happen less often. I put it back now and I've already had 3 messed up lines out of about 30 narrates. E.g.
Quote:
Ababab narrates 'Eather!'
(18:53:17) Ababab narrates 'Eather!'![ i100 26195[223:100]>

Where the second line is not coloured, and both lines should just be:
Quote:
Ababab narrates 'Eather!'
(18:53:17) ![ i100 26195[223:100]>

There are three different wrong sorts of text outputs I see when I have the SUB in place:
1. The one in my previous post.
2. My prompt gets the SUB and CAPTURE:
Quote:
Mdssds narrates 'thank you'

(19:02:18) ![ i100 26195[223:100]>

[EDIT: Actually, occasionally the blank line is the one that gets captured, but the main window output still looks like this.]
3. The whole of the narrate gets the SUB (CAPTURE gets the whole line anyway so is not effected) and the line following the narrate gets removed:
Quote:
Gsdfcsa narrates 'bleh'
(19:03:18) ![ i100 26195[223:100]>

Colours work as I'd expect so I didn't bother to add them here. The correct, and more usual, behaviour is for only the name of the person narrating getting the SUB, and for that line to be captured.

I sort of continued this thread in [2.04] Odd trigger mix up
They appear to be the same issue.
