Feature Request - Option to run CMUD maximized |
Heh, all my suggestion fit in topic subj.
I'm using CMUD about 2,5 weeks after clean install and it still not run maximized, as Zugg promised in the nearby forum thread.
I have a wide screen display and yes, after 2-3 days CMUD have remember it and runs in 16:10 ratio, not 4:3 as after install. But it not maximized, it just have a window with size of my screen, I still can move it with mouse. I always click on Maximize button upon CMUD startup, but I may forget about it and then drag main window by accident while in mid-battle or something.
That why I request this feature.
Thanks. |

Agreed, it remembers the size, but not properly maximised. My pet hate recently is the non standard windowing, I'd far prefer it just to look like a normal Windows app and do away with the skinning.

If you select "Normal" for the Theme, then it should look and work just like a normal Windows XP app. I don't have the code to make it look like a "normal" Vista app yet (with all of the glass stuff). The Vista stuff will come when I upgrade to Delphi 2007 and update my other components. Anyway, "Normal" mode turns off the skinning library, so try that.
I just tested the Maximize stuff and confirmed the problem. This *used* to work in a past version, so something has happened to break it, and I've added it to the bug list. |

It was as much that it doesn't behave like a normal XP app either, with earlier comments about it not being compatible with things like nView (for sending apps to another window) etc. Fingers crossed for Delphi 2007 and, as always, thanks for all the work :)
