Do they have a default value set on them?

I cannot remember what became of it but Zugg played with the idea of a no-update option for variables. It is supposed to work like this.

If you have a default value set then Cmud is supposed to be smart enough to know that the value in the variable doesn't need to be remembered. In this case Cmud does not write updates to the variable in the database. Instead it treats the variable as if it were a local variable but keeps it loaded in memory so that it doesn't lose its value while the session is open.

For a time in his testing he had given us the ability to SET the no-update option without checking the default option. It is possible if you don't have a default option that if you put one in, Edit: "SAVE IT", and then remove it that you will be able to make Cmud remember the values when you close the session.

This is just a theory I haven't had opportunity to try it.

Some bugs related to this were also fixed in the 2.x beta, so you might want to try that.

Also, I'd appreciate it if you would edit your signature to remove the link to another MUD client.
