[2.02] Variables being cleared

I don't know how, but some of my database variables get cleared out/rested/nullified somehow. I suspect it's got to do somehow with the crashes. It's happened to me in 1.34 as well.

Not much I can do without a lot more information about this. Where are your variables being defined? Are they in the main window, or are they in some other package or module? What crashes are you getting? If you get a crash, then you should restart CMUD to avoid getting corrupted data from the crash. Especially with beta versions, you should never keep running CMUD after a crash...you should always exit and restart it. What other scripts do you have that manipulate the database variable?

With the new hash table for database variables, it's certainly possible that there is still a bug with the internal cache that is clearing the variable somehow. But without a way to reproduce it, it's going to be impossible to fix. Although if it happened in 1.34 as well, then that seems to indicate some other problem and some other part of your scripts that are resetting it.

I've recently gotten all my variables cleared out in 1.34, database variables along as variables simple as 'cuse=1'. I was doing work using the #Window 'window' {#show @seller is selling @auctionitem at @auctionprice} command. the blah had some variables that were being referenced such as a seller, auction price. What happened was Cmud went under serious work, constant hourglass and i used 'esc' to end the loop. After all my variables were reset. THere was no crash message.
