[2.01] Search function |
when you select that you want the search option in the menu bar, and then close the editor it still defaults to no search option in the menu bar the next time you open the editor...
Is there an option that you can select that can make this not happen? |

Agree.
Also the show/hide panels in the Mapper could/should remember which way you prefer. |

I thought the Mapper panels already remembered their state. CMUD is certainly saving that information to the *.ini file for the specific map. At least it is on my system here.
On the search panel in the settings editor, I'll consider this in the future. |

View > Hide Panels (so that they're now actually shown). Close the mapper, reopen the mapper, no panels. Maybe related to the numlock bug? since it seems similar.

How exactly are you closing and reopening the mapper? It isn't related to the numlock bug because the mapper is using a different INI file that isn't connected to the rest of the session preferences. So if it's not saving the mapper preference, then somehow the mapper is being closed in a way that isn't calling the saveini routine.

I have the map window undocked, and I was using the normal X in the upper right to close it.

OK, I'll see if I can reproduce that.
Does it save the settings properly if the mapper window is docked and you exit CMUD instead of manually closing the mapper yourself? |

It doesn't save the panel setting if I dock it and it auto-hides. It doesn't save if I dock it (non-auto hide) and close/reopen CMud. I even tried running CMud as Administrator and still no go.

OK, thanks for checking into it. It's on the bug list.
