Saving changes to Zmud files

My old computer died so I had to download zmud 7.21 on my new computer that has Vista. My problem is that I can't get zmud to remember any changes that I make to my file. Everytime I log back in I start from scratch with zero aliases/triggers.

Found the answer. Vista wouldn't let me change the file until I changed the permissions.

i have that same problem except that it is only with one character that i have that problem. how did you fix it?

For Windows Vista you should really be using CMUD as zMUD is not supported under Vista. While CMUD on the other hand, is designed to work with XP and Vista.
As for how he fixed the problem, he went to his zMUD folder and changed the file permissions. I don't have Vista but the easiest to access it by right clicking on the file you want and going to properties and making the changes there. |
