Color Picker requests

Zugg, I have several suggestions regarding the Color Picker in CMUD:

1. Can you add a button or menu item for the color picker on the Package Editor? --Never mind. Ctrl-I works for that. Embarassed

2. If a color is chosen for either the foreground or the background, and then the color is erased, the words "Color not selected" are placed in the clipboard in the respective spot, which means when the color setting is pasted into a script, one has to erase those words from the script. Can you modify the routine so that a null string is put in the clipboard as appropriate?

3. Is it possible on the main color chart to show the color names for the colors on the standard Windows palette, either as a tool tip or in a box on the palette's window when the color is clicked on?

4. Is it possible to show the hex as well as the decimal values for the RGB values on the main color chart?

5. On the ANSI color charts, can you show the standard color names and/or the hex RGB values for the colors on the foreground color and background color charts, again either as a tool tip or in a box at the bottom of the ANSI chart when the color is clicked upon?

Thank you for all you do, Zugg.

2) Added to wish list.

3) The "main color chart" is the Windows color selection dialog that is defined within Windows itself. This is not my own dialog and I have little control over it. Writing my own color chart would be a lot of work unless I can find a cheap 3rd party Delphi component that already does it.

4) see (3)

5) The ANSI color selector *is* something that I wrote (although it's pretty crude). I'll see what I can do with that.

As an aside, there's a nifty, free utility called ColorPix that tells you the R,G,B and hex RRGGBB values for the pixel that your mouse pointer is touching. It's quite useful for doing things like #5.
