When press ctrl+k and then alt-z it does nothing.i must open macro windows and manually entering hot key. in zmud and i believe in previsou version cmud i can define macro by pressing hot key.single key such like F1 works but alt + z for doesnt working

Try typing "Alt-Z" in to the Macro fields in the settings editor. Note you have to type the actual text not the key combination.

I believe the reason for what your seeing is either windows capturing the key combination before CMUD does, or your trying to put in a key combination that's already a shortcut key in the new editor. Either way, doing the above should help.

If you read the help line shown in the status bar when you are in the Name field, it tells you to press the Enter key to define the key. Press Enter and then you can press Alt-Z just like in zMUD. Or, just enter the "Alt-Z" text as Tech mentioned. This change was made to make the name field work more like a normal edit box, and yet retain the ability to press Enter to select the key.
