Automapper Questions |
Does anyone have any usefull things for the automapper to work with Iron Realms games? E.g. Aetolia?
Or is there just a way to make it blindly follow where you go following the connections on the map. E.g. You move "East" it follows you east without checking room name, descriptions, etc. It just follows the little link? |

For that you just place the map into fast speedwalking mode mode.

Under the site menu, there's a member list. Find the forum user Larkin and check his sig for a link to his website. He has some free automapper scripts for Achaea that you can probably adapt.
The longer explanation is that you need to create a trigger or triggers that'll reliably fire on every room, but not on anything else. That usually means using ANSI triggers to fire on the colour of the room names and exits. You then use the #tag command to tell the mapper which parts are which, and then reconfigure the mapper once they're firing properly. It should be able to tell what's what once you've done that. |
