in 1.26 the below when in a status bar showed the color. now you see the actual code in the status bar

Confirmed.
Basically Nothing but String variables is being expanded within the status bar. |

Confirmed and added to the high-priority bug list. I think this is actually the same bug as the one causing button captions not to expand. It's a side effect of a parser change. I might do a release later tonight to fix this, but I want to wait and see what else is a problem.
