[1.26] "Stay on top" doesn't seem to stay on, plus a suggestion

I have two windows - one in which the normal mud runs (main window), and one which displays only certain items specified with a #capture trigger (chat window). Both windows are undocked and resized to my desired position. I right click on the tells window's title bar and check "stay on top," and it does in fact stay on top -- until I minimize CMUD then come back to it. At this point, the "stay on top" checkbox remains checked, but the window fails to actually stay on top -- whichever window I last clicked on is the one that stays on top. Then, I have to un-check and re-check the "stay on top" option.

Furthermore, I would like to make a suggestion about the "stay on top" feature. Could you add an option so that you can choose between having "stay on top" windows stay on top of non-CMUD windows and having all CMUD windows be hidden when CMUD is in the background?

Thank you!

I'll see if I can find the bug that is preventing the stay-on-top option from saving.

However, on your suggestion I am very limited by what Windows allows the windows to do. Even the current stay-on-top feature has problems because of how Windows handles the priority of windows on the screen. It just has a simple priority stack, so there is no good way to implement what you are asking for. All windows of all applications share the same desktop window stack.
