does XML import even work
 
ok so the stupid session is corrupted and alias don't parse so I export all my stetting to XML

create a new session open settings import xml choose the file what happens nothing.

before you say something about alias not working it said parsing was on

I'll reinstall cmud and try my old session

There are some known problems with XML import in the current version, so it might not work. It works for some but not others. If the package that you exported was corrupted, then the XML output might be bad too.
