reg-zmud.exe problems.. |
So I ran reg-zmud.exe without putting in proxy settings, which of course I needed... but now it's not getting a new key for me. I've tried unlicensing, no good. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling.. nothing. Keeps giving me:
Retrieving eLicense Order ID...
Order ID: ---MY ID----
Contacting Zuggsoft upgrade server...
HTTP/1.0 403 Blocked.
Can't find out where to put in the proxy information, what port to forward to get it to work, etc.. .Anyone got any idea? |

Just go to the online store at https://www.zuggsoft.com/store and use the Recover Password link on that page and enter the email address that you purchased zMUD with. That will send you the password needed to log into the store and retrieve the updated license key for the newer version of zMUD. You don't actually need to use the reg-zmud.exe program...that program was just included for convenience for the majority of people upgrading from old versions who could run it. I *think* it pulls your proxy information from Internet Explorer, but if that doesn't work then there isn't any manual way to set a proxy for it, sorry.
If you have any other trouble retrieving your license (like if your email has changed), then contact us at support@zuggsoft.com and provide your original purchase information and we can help from there. We can't really help with license issues on a public forum like this. |
