[1.25] #WIN command no longer working

The #WIN command does not seem to be functioning in ver. 1.25.

Captures work fine, but if I try to send text to another window using #WIN, either in a trigger or directly from the command line, the window never receives the text.

I've tested the main window trigger by having it #SAY text in the main window, and the trigger fires. I've also checked to make sure the other windows are enabled, active, etc.

Confirmed. It seems the focus behavior is retained, but no text is painted to the other window.

Actually the #win command IS working but it cannot place anything into a window that does not have some sort of network connection.

WORKAROUND. Click on the window and set it to use main network connection.

As far as I can tell there isn't any harm in doing this.
Edit: IF you are NOT playing a Simutronics mud.

In fact the only thing that CAN display anything into a window that has no network connection is #capture from another window. Without a network connection the only things I could do from a child window were sending text to the main window via #win or the focus char. Shocked

Edit: If you play Simutronics muds scroll down for your workaround.

In a related issue, I have this problem when i close out a child window (for whichever reason)
The next #WIN command will open a new window instead of just restoring visability to the old one.

Arminas, I've been experiencing problems with CMUD trying to connect with the mud again at startup for each chat window marked with the "Use Main Window Connection" option. I'm not sure it's exclusively a Simutronics problem, but please see the Cmud 1.25 and Simutronics connection issue thread.

Hrm, Ok I don't play Simutronics but I HAVE tried the above out in Achaea without any visible Ill effects. After looking at the other thread I fear I'll have to revise the workaround.

So for Simutronics mud players use this workaround instead of the one posted above.

WORKAROUND
If you want to see something in the chat window put it in the main window first IE

Code:
#say Gee I want to put this in the chat window.
#gag
#capture Chat

That will place things in a sub window like in chat even if that window does NOT have a network connection.

Edit AGAIN:Sorry I did this one wrong again. it should be

Code:
#say Gee I want to put this in the chat window.
#capture Chat
#gag

Sorry for the mix up guys!!

Sigh...what a mess. I'll try to fix this as soon as I can, but I can't promise any time scale yet, sorry.
