Timer request, mine doesnt seem to cut it.

I made a timer to display a number of secconds on my status bar

i made it using #add and #alarms but its very .. well... crude. anyone able to help me out

What i need....

A trigger fires- timer starts at 1954 seconds. when the timer hits zero the timer stops, or is set to zero and stopped by another trigger. and the timer needs to be displayed on my status bar ofcourse.

Status bar is
%eval((@timerstart - %secs)/1000)

#ALIAS timer {timerstart = (%secs+(%1*1000))}

Then could do an expression triggers to check when @timerstart > %secs
I don't have CMUD to hand and not sure of expression trigger syntax
