Just a little help please.

Its been a while since i've used Zmud and when i saw that Cmud came out i thought i'd give it a try seems i've pretty much forgotten all the old stuff as far as triggers go, So its a perfect time to get some help on the new format. I've read most of the read me files but still find myself a bit lost.

I was hoping that someone could help me convert this.

#ALIAS claw {~claw %1;#VAR Target %1}
#TRIGGER {You swipe at * (%w)!} {}
#COND {You swipe at * (%w)!} {claw @target}

this used to work in Zmud quite well but is a dead trigger in Cmud.

Thank you for any help you all can supply.

Best,
Thalir

I pasted that code on the command line and it works fine for me.

Code:
claw Bob
You swipe at something something!
You swipe at something something!
claw Bob

What input exactly is being passed to the trigger, and what is it doing that you don't expect?

Thats just it, it doesnt do anything. ZMUD used to trigger it off the second attack since i have 2 attacks per round.

Here is the MUD Text.

> claw dum

You swipe at a training dummy with your claws.
The attack is a strong blow to the left leg.
You inflict 17 points of damage!
[4 sec. delay]

You swipe at a training dummy with your claws.
The attack is a strong blow to the left leg.
You inflict 19 points of damage!
[4 sec. delay]
